H.D Karns Recognizes 24 Graduates

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - It was truly a day to remember in Geary County Schools USD 475 on Friday as 24 H.D. Karns Alternative School students were recognized for completing their graduation requirementsBy 

On Friday, James Asencio, Adalynn Baldwin, Blanca Barragan, Jaylah Buffington, Jeremiah Cockrell, Halley Collins, Kameron Demaroney, Ryan Dzib-Ramirez, Alejandra Hernandez, Riley Kramer, Kijana Lodge, Jaxson Matlock, Yaziell Otero-Negron, Anaijah Perez, Destynee Sannicolas, Alanna Smith, Antonio Sosa, Jhonevan Tirado Ortiz, Carlos Torres, Max Tracy, Sophi Tufts, Oolando Vega-Rodriguez, Jeremiah Whitledge and Ladarrius Williams were honored in front of friends, family, district staff and others inside the H.D. Karns auditorium.

It was an extra special night as former USD 475 administrator, Dr. Larry Dixon, returned to the district and gave the commencement speech at the graduation.
