Annual Float Your Boat races are being scheduled Aug. 20th at the swimming beach area near the South Boat Ramp at Milford State Park by the Geary County Convention & Visitor's Bureau.
Float Your Boat is where participants build cardboard boats and compete in timed events.

The CVB Advisory Committee is also recommending that $500 in funding should be provided to support the Junction City Rodeo. The rodeo is held in July.
