RILEY COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just before 2p.m. Wednesday in Manhattan.
A 2011 Ford E450 driven by Bettina Moffith, 29, of Manhattan, a 2018 Subaru Outback driven by Dan Deines, 76, of Manhattan and a 2016 Dodge Caravan driven by William Crawford, 74, Manhattan involved in the multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Claflin Road and North Seth Child Road in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Three people involved in the accident were transported to the hospital for what was initially believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Two of the three were later air-lifted to Stormont Vail Medical Center for continued care as their conditions were upgraded. Moffith was cited for failure to yield at a red light, according to the RCPD. The RCPD released no additional or specific details on the crash.
