Geary County Convention & Visitor's Bureau officials recently talked with the president of Sports ETA during a reception in Overland Park. The subject of sports complexes received discussion.
CVB Director Donna Price learned that the company would rather work with a government entity rather than a private group. There was not any formal action taken.

Junction City will be the site for the KCAC Bowling Championships in the late February - early March time frame.

CVB officials are waiting on a second site visit from KCAC officials and a couple of coaches about possibly bringing the KCAC men's and women's wrestling tournaments to JCHS in 2025 and 2026.
