Gary Oetinger, 82 died March 15, 2021 in Clay Center, KS.&nbsp; He was born on August 12, 1938 in Clay Center, the son of George and Geneva (Marmon) Oetinger.&nbsp; Gary was raised in the Morganville community and was a graduate of the Morganville High School Classof 1956.&nbsp; He attended Kansas State University for two years and Kansas State Teachers College, Class of 1960.&nbsp; Gary worked in in insurance industry for many years.&nbsp; He returned to Morganville in 1988 and retired in 2009.&nbsp; Gary was a member of the Morganville United Methodist Church, past chairman of the Flint Hills Christian School, Morganville Library Board and served as Lay speaker and Pastor.&nbsp; Gary is survived by a niece, Cindy Bunch and a nephew, Mark Oetinger.

Gary will be interred with his parents in Greenwood Cemetery.&nbsp; Public memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Gary requested memorial to the Green Christian School or Morganville United Methodist Church c/o the funeral home.
