The Geary County 4-H Achievement Celebration this year is scheduled on Saturday, Nov. 2nd at the 4-H / Senior Center. It will begin at 6 p.m. with a potluck supper. Each family is asked to bring a main dish an side dish or dessert.

48 Hours of 4-H is a Kansas 4-H service challenge Oct. 12-13. According to the 4-H newsletter in Geary County there are two options for participation. You can design or color a fall door hangar for Brookdale Senior Living residents where templates will be mailed to you and you are then asked to return them to the Extension Office by oct. 15th.

You can also at Milford State Park to help with the Monster Myths program by serving as a trail guide on Saturday, Oct. 12th from 4-9 p.m.
