Another report of drivers pointing guns in Manhattan

MANHATTAN — For the second time in a  week, law enforcement authorities are investigating an alleged aggravated assault in Manhattan involving guns and drivers.

Just after 7:30p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report for aggravated assault near the intersection of N. 11th Street and Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

Officers listed 4-year-old and 26-year-old males, and 9-year-old and 26-year-old females as the victims. They reported a 27-year-old man allegedly pulled up next to them while they were driving and pointed a gun at them.

On December 22, the RCPD reported a 24-year-old man pointed a gun at a man and woman in another vehicle in the 2700 block of Anderson Avenue in Manhattan.

Police released no additional details.
