Junction City High School USD 475 and Junction City FFA Chapter standouts Emma Hinds and Keiondrae Wilcox placed seventh overall, nationally, in the 2023 National FFA Agriscience Fair Division Six Finals on Friday at the 96th National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, Ind.
Hinds and Wilcox, who competed in the food products and processing systems division, were the only duo from the state of Kansas to place in their division. Other highlights included, the JCHS Ag Issues team consisting of Wilcox, Hinds, Jamie Amerson, Isabel Huddleston and Ethan Goodyear wrapping-up competition in the Bronze Division. Other JCHS representatives included Kourtney Dibben, Ava Oentrich and Katlyn Mohler.
