Manhattan driver accused of DUI after he ran from car accidents

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect after ran from a car crash in Manhattan.

According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Jackson Tanner of Manhattan, struck multiple parked vehicles in the 1600 Block of Houston Street in Manhattan. He ran from the area.

Just before 10:30p.m. police arrested him in the 1900 block of Denison Avenue on requested charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving, failure to stop at an accident, failure to report an accident with an unattended vehicle and trespass on property with critical infrastructure.

Tanner was issued a total bond of $3,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
