Stormont Vail Health Earns National Recognition for Excellence in Stroke Care

TOPEKA, Kan. | JUNCTION CITY, Kan. (August 4, 2025) – Stormont Vail Health Topeka Campus and Flint Hills Campus in Junction City have received national honors from the American Heart Association (AHA) for delivering high-quality stroke care through the AHA’s Get With The Guidelines® program.

Stormont Vail announced that their Topeka Campus earned multiple distinctions, including the Target: Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award, Honor Roll-Elite; Honor Roll Advanced Therapy; and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. Each recognition reflects Stormont Vail’s commitment to timely, evidence-based stroke treatment.

Stormont Vail is proud to recognize its Flint Hills Campus for its first Target: Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze Award. This achievement marks a major milestone in enhanced access to high-quality stroke care in Junction City and surrounding communities.
