School begins for students in Geary USD 475 on Monday. Reginald Eggleston, Superintendent of Schools, said it will be a half-day of classes. "We will not be serving meals on that day so no lunch or breakfast will be served on Monday, but it will be the first day and it will be a half-day for students."
Eggleston also noted that patrons should focus attention on the Facebook and web pages for individual schools. Information will be there on topics ranging from how to turn in computers to supplies and information on COVID-19 safety measures.
The majority of students will attend class in brick and mortar buildings, but many others have chosen a remote learning option for the fall semester.
