Another hot and humid day is ahead on Wednesday with heat indices between 100 and 105 degrees. The National Weather Service noted that a few storms may move into north central KS after midnight, while storm chances increase for the entire area Thursday. The clouds and rain will make it less hot Thursday and Friday, but this is short-lived as the heat looks to make a return this weekend into early next week.
