Earth day cleanup is June 1st in Junction City. According to a release from the City if you would like to volunteer you may reach out to Cindy Sinklier by email at [email protected] or calling 785-762-5912, or by email to Sergeant Eliel Borges at [email protected].
As a reminder this is still an opportunity for high school students needing those service hours. First Student Inc. stated that they will provide bussing. Pizza will be donated from Domino’s Pizza and Sausages from Smithfield.
The cleanup Saturday is a makeup event from an earlier scheduled cleanup.
