Geary County Commissioners have set a July 19th bid opening date for the Munson Road improvement project on the west side of the new Junction City High School site.
"We've got to get the portion of Munson Road from K-18 to the high school's north property line and that bid opening will be July 19th at 1:15 p.m., said Commissioner Keith Ascher. He added that the cost will be paid for by USD 475 but the project runs through Geary County.
Munson Road is currently a gravel road and must be upgraded to accommodate increased traffic going to the new high school.
