Geary County Commissioners recently conducted a survey with the results showing the most and least important priorities from the county's residents.
The top five most important priorities included:
--County roads and potholes
--Lowering taxes
--New improvements to Grant Avenue
--Snow removal services
--Bring in more businesses
The five least important priorities included:
--Opera House
--Mainstreet Initiative
--Historical Society Museum
--Stadium / sports complex
--Economic development
