RILEY COUNTY – Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on child sex allegations.
On Tuesday, police arrest 37-year-old David Hearlson of Junction City in connection to child sex crimes reported to have occurred between March and May of 2019 involving a minor female victim known to him, according to a media release from the Riley County Police Department.
Hearlson was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant on requested charges that include three counts each of rape and aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and one count each of attempted aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent solicitation of a child, and criminal threat.
He remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $200,000.
