Geary County Sheriff's Department will be holding an open house event Wednesday, September 15th&nbsp; at the new Milford Lake Substation located at 8421 Quarry Rd.&nbsp; The Open house will begin at 6:00p.m. 

 You will be able to view the substation with static displays from the marine unit and dive teams. There will be sausage/hotdogs donated by Smithfield, buns, chips and waters.  An informal town hall will begin at 7:00p.m. where the Sheriff and command staff will speak and take questions.
