POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY —The game warden in Pottawatomie County is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual who poached a deer on private property and only took the head, according to a social media report from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens.
The deer was found near the southeast corner of Galilee Road and Mt. Vernon Road in Pottawatomie County.
The deer is suspected to have been taken within the last week. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Game Warden Matthew Cook at (785) 256-3603.
