Geary County officials are seeking potential volunteers for a position on the new county metropolitan planning commission that is being formed.
County Commission Chairman Keith Ascher noted the volunteer must live in the unincorporated area of the county. This new board is a separate planning board from the one that exists in Junction City.
Ascher noted that inquiries should be directed to Troy Livingston, their GIS Planning and Zoning Administrator ([email protected]). The new county board will consist of five members.
