Twila passed away peacefully on January 17th 2026. after a decade-long battle with health issues—fought with grit, determination, and just the right amount of ornery charm. The youngest of four siblings—Maurice, Henry, and Ruth Wilson.

Twila Lou (Lind) Zeigler was born in Enterprise, Kansas on September 20, 1933, to Albin and Elizabeth Lind. Over her 92 remarkable years, she held three things close to her heart: family always comes first, germs must never cross the threshold of your home, and talking is the best sport and hobby ever invented.

On November 19, 1955, she married Marvin Zeigler. Together they welcomed four daughters: Debra, Dana, Denise, and Delinda. Their family life took them from Abilene to Salina, to Topeka in 1977, and finally to Meriden later in 2000.

After graduating High school in Gainesville, MO Twila worked for Southwestern Bell (later AT&T) as a telephone operator for 37 years. Marvin and Twila remained members of First Lutheran Church in Topeka, KS

Throughout their marriage, Marvin and Twila built a real estate business that became the foundation of their retirement years. They were not just landlords, but caring stewards to long-time tenants—working closely with them and treating them like extended family. Marvin and Twila enjoyed taking their family on multiple vacations/cruises, and going to the casino.

Twila was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Zeigler; her parents; two brothers and one sister; and two daughters, Debra Zeigler and Dana Wright. She is survived by her daughters Delinda (Ron) Bahm and Denise (Ken) Bisel; son-in-law Jerel Wright; grandchildren Justin (Ashley), Brittney, Brandon, Halsey., Marissa, Haydn, Taylor (Jay), and Myranda; greatgrandchildren Ashtin, Aurora, Brinley; and future great-grandchild Odin.
