Members of law enforcement were honored during an appreciation banquet Friday night at the Junction City Municipal Building.
They included:
North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Center--Michael Hoover, Juvenile Corrections Officer of the Year
Eighth Judicial District Court Services-- Amber Knapp, Court Services Officer of the Year
Fort Riley Police Department--SSG Cody Mabe, Officer of the Year and Michael McMackin, Administrative Employee of the Year
Criminal Investigation Division--Special Agent Joshua Brown, Officer of the Year
Junction City Police Department--Detective Clint Arnold, Detective of the Year, Casey Thomas--Administrative Employee of the Year, Alexya Mailea--Dispatcher of the Year, SGT Emily Olson--Officer of the Year
Eighth Judicial District-Community Corrections--Briana Webster, Intensive Supervision Officer of the Year
Geary County Sheriff's Office--Jeannette DeMars, Administrative Employee of the Year, Ali Huizar, Officer of the Year, Paul Pacholski, Correctional Officer of the Year
Grandview Plaza Police Department--Korie Brown, Officer of the Year
Approximately 250 people attended the banquet.
