Geary County Convention and Visitor's Bureau Director Donna Price updated the Geary County Commission on a number of topics this week. One of those involves a possible effort to form a sports complex committee. Price confirmed that the committee, if formed, would report back to the CVB on their work. She would like a member of the county commission to serve on the committee.

--The appointment of Jordan McCann and Henry Petty to one year terms on the CVB Board of Directors.

--The CVB staff will be painting the kiosk at Freedom Park east of Junction City. Part of the improvement at that location will also involve telling the story of Atomic Annie, the large cannon in the park on the bluff above the Marshall Army Airfield.
