JC Breakfast Optimist Club
On July 23 at the Hampton Inn Chris Srackangast, Director of Community Development for Junction City, spoke at the meeting of the JC Breakfast Optimist Club. He and his family chose to stay in Junction City after his retirement from the Army having been stationed at Fort Riley for 12 years. Chris shared his goals are to work on blight, develop and have his staff be certified in the areas they work, increase the number of staff to be able to do the expected work, positively and quickly respond to the needs of citizens and he is looking for a grant writer.
Originally from Florida, where he worked not only as a certified chef, but also was project manager for multi-million dollar restaurants.
