Press release
Tiffany Naccarato has filed to run for the Kansas House of Representatives 65th District. The District serves a portion of Junction City, Milford and Smoky Hill.
A local business owner and rural health care provider, Naccarato is a lifelong Republican and lifelong Kansan. She and her husband Teran have four children in our local schools.
“As a nurse practitioner, I owe it to my patients to take a proactive approach – one where I listen, build a plan of action, and get to work on achieving the right results,” said Naccarato. “I’m ready to take that same approach to Topeka, getting the right results for our families.”
Naccarato said she views the priority issues as:
• Property taxes – including finding a balanced solution that allows our seniors and retired military to remain in their homes, and gives young people and new families in our community the opportunity to invest in their own home.
• Healthcare – including the cost of prescription medicines, the cost of health insurance premiums, and the ability to recruit more healthcare providers to rural areas
• Our schools – including industry partnerships on career & technical education so that our next generation can develop the skills they need to fill gaps in our workforce
• Jobs & Local Businesses – including finding common sense solutions that will give more communities an upperhand in attracting good-paying jobs, instead of recruiting jobs to just the metro areas.
“Too often, politicians mean well, but they don’t do the work or build the relationships needed to tackle the issues that matter - like property taxes, healthcare, our schools, and our military,” said Naccarato. “I know we can do more to make Geary County a priority and move these issues forward.”
Naccarato is a nurse practitioner who focuses on cardiology and rural healthcare. She co-owns Paradox Coffee Shop in Junction City, is an active Alzheimer’s advocate and volunteer, and a member of the Junction City Chamber.
