RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged forgery and theft in Manhattan.
Just before 1:30p.m. Monday, officers filed a report for forgery and theft by deception in the 700 block of Poyntz Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity re port.
Flint Hills Beverage and a 38-year-old man reported an unknown suspect fraudulently wrote and cashed checks at numerous banks in the area.
