CLASS 6A
The Manhattan High Indians stay at #8 in Class 6A. The Indians are 3-0 after a 70-0 win over Highland Park on Friday. Junction City stands at #10 in the poll after reaching as high as 5th earlier in the season. The Blue Jays are 2-1 and coming off an overtime victory over Topeka Seaman and their only loss is to the 8th-ranked Indians.
CLASS 4A
The Wamego Red Raiders have played some tight football games so far this season. Currently, they're 2-1 on the year with their lone loss being 41-40 in 4 overtimes against Concordia in week one. Last week, Wamego slid past Clay Center 47-41 in 3 overtimes. They move up to #8 in Class 4A ahead of a matchup with KC Washington this week.
CLASS 3A
The Riley County Falcons have burst onto the scene this season, starting 3-0 with impressive wins over St. Marys, Minneapolis, and most recently Silver Lake. The Falcons, now ranked #8, will take on Clay Center this Friday in what will likely be one of the marquee matchups this weekend.
