LHEAT release
The Local Health Equity Action Team (LHEAT) has announced its continued partnership with ATA Bus, providing funding for the third consecutive year to improve transportation services in Geary County. This will also allow ATA Bus to secure additional state and federal funding, which will further increase their ability to serve the community.
Through this partnership with ATA Bus, LHEAT works to eliminate a major barrier—lack of transportation—allowing residents of Geary County to access healthcare, jobs, education, and other important services that may otherwise be difficult to reach.
“We are grateful to continue our partnership with ATA Bus, as this funding benefits those who need transportation,” said Courtney Angelo, Co-Lead of LHEAT.
