JUNCTION CITY, Kan. - Due to the boil water advisory in the area, all schools in Junction City are now closed on Wednesday, Nov. 12. All after-school activities in town are canceled.
Please note that Early Childhood Center, Eisenhower Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Washington Elementary, Westwood Elementary, Sheridan Elementary, Spring Valley Elementary, H.D. Karns Alternative School, USD 475 Virtual School, Junction City Middle School and Junction City High School are now closed. Bus routes will begin picking up students at JCHS at 9:30 a.m. All Junction City elementary, early childhood and alternative school students will release at approximately 10 a.m. Milford Elementary, Grandview Elementary and all Fort Riley schools are still in session.
We are continuing to monitor the situation and will update families with any further changes or cancelations.
