The Geary County Sheriff's Department reported that Deputies responded at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday to I-70 Eastbound Mile Marker 303 exit ramp for a two-vehicle injury accident.
Edward Huddleston of Manhattan, was at the stop sign of the intersection for Clarks Creek and K-18 Bypass, on his 2012 Can Am Spyder Motorcycle. Clayton Southers of Lost Springs, KS, while traveling in his 2016 Ford Fusion., ran into the side of Huddleston's motorcycle, causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Edward and Clayton were both transported to Stormont Vail Hospital.

On Wednesday at 1256 p.m. Deputies responded to K57 Highway Mile Marker 17 for a single vehicle accident. Gavin Morton of Junction City, KS was traveling south on K57 in a 2018 International Workstar 7500SFA 6X4. Gavin attempted to negotiate a curve when the vehicle tipped over onto the passenger side, and came to a rest in the middle of the road. No injuries reported, the vehicle was removed by TLC wrecker service.
