Sheriff's Deputies responded to three non-injury accidents

Geary County Sheriff's Deputies worked a non-injury accident at East Lyons Creek Road and Otter Creek Road for a vehicle accident. Irwin Barragan, Junction City, was turning from Otter Creek Road onto westbound East Lyons Creek Road when the vehicle slid off the roadway and into a ditch. It was then hit by a Toyota Highlander driven by Billy Knox, Junction City, who was traveling in the same direction. The Highlander hit the Envoy as it also slid in the same intersection. There were not any injuries.

Deputies responded to U.S. 77 and Skiddy West Road for a vehicle accident. Timothy Schrader, White City, was attempting to stop at a stop sign on Skiddy West Road at U.S. 77 when he slid on an icy road in his Kia Sportage and struck Kenneth Knight, Woodbine, who was southbound on U.S. 77 in a Kia Sorrento. No one was injured.

Deputies responded to U.S. 77 Highway mile marker 145 for a single vehicle non-injury accident. Roberto Coronado, Oklahoma City, was northbound in a Chevrolet Camaro when the vehicle slid off the road and struck a tree. The car sustained heavy damage. There were not any injuries.
