Eldon G. Weber - August 5, 1920-December 15, 2020 (age 100)

Eldon's life began on August 5, 1920 in Shady Brook, KS. He was the son of Adolph and Ida May (Chalker) Weber. He was educated through the 8th grade at Immanuel Lutheran Church School. Eldon was united in marriage to Emma Winter on August 18, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Durham. He was a farmer and stockman for most of his life. Eldon also worked 14 years at Fort Riley, another 7 years at Herington Municipal Hospital and briefly for the Cathins IGA. He was a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

His loving family includes his sons Vernon (Mary) Weber of Herington and Marvin (Shari) Weber of Vassar; grandchildren Jeremiah "J.D." Weber of Austin, TX, Joshua (Kim) Weber of Louisburg, KS, Joy (Kyle) Martin of Lake Villa, IL, Ben Weber of Mooresville, NC, Sophia Weber of Herington and Luke (Cassia) Weber of Omaha; great grandchildren Kaden, Adelyn, and Carter Martins and Jacob Weber and Elliott Weber.

Eldon passed away on December 15, 2020 at Legacy of Herington. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother Milton Weber and sister Lola Mae Teetzen. His family will gather with friends this  Saturday. Dece,ber 19th  from 1 to 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church where his funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at the church. He will be laid to rest in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington is serving the family.
