Discussion about increasing the number of members on the Geary County Commission to five is an agenda item for the governing body on Monday. The discussion is scheduled from 11:45 a.m. until noon.
There are currently three members on the commission.
A check with Commissioner Trish Giordano revealed that she was asked to have a discussion about the pros and cons of increasing the number of members on the board. A small number nearby counties do have five members, including Saline County.
