With Xavion Felton rushing and the offensive line doing a tremendous job of blocking the Junction City Blue Jays rallied from a 12-3 halftime deficit to defeat the McPherson Bullpups ( 2-1 ) by a score of 30-15 in football Friday night at Blue Jay Stadium.
Felton rushed for four touchdowns in the win and carried the ball numerous other times for good gains. The Blue Jays ( 2-1 ) got a 35-yard field goal from Aiden Field and he also went 3-3 on extra point tries.
Blue Jay coach Randall Zimmerman was proud of the fans, players and the community. "Everybody was proud and loud, most everybody was. Great community event. I'm just proud of everybody."
Junction City travels to Bishop Carroll next Friday night.
