The charges against Alvin Babcock, which included unlawfully harboring, concealing or aiding a person whom Babcock knew had committed a felony, or been charged with committing one, have been dismissed in the Geary County District Court.

The preliminary hearing scheduled for Junction City police detective Alvin Babcock In Geary County District Court on Friday was moved to Sept. 18th, according to a check with the District Court Clerk's office.
According to court records Babcock is charged with one felony count of Obstructing Apprehension or Prosecution. He is charged with unlawfully harboring, concealing or aiding a person whom Babcock knew had committed a felony, or been charged with committing one.
The hearing on Sept. 18th is scheduled at 9:30 a.m.
