THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAID A WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THURSDAY EVENING TO NOON CST FRIDAY. A WIND CHILL ADVISORYWILL BE IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM FRIDAY TO NOON CST SATURDAY.
Expect for the first Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero. For the second Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 24 below zero. This is for portions of central, east central, north central and northeast Kansas.
For the first Wind Chill Advisory, it goes from 9 PM this evening to noon CST Friday. For the second Wind Chill Advisory, it will run from 6 PM Friday to noon CST Saturday.
The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
