On Sunday evening Geary County Sheriff's Deputies responded to K-57 Highway at mile marker 5 for a two vehicle injury accident. Ledger J. Rose of Salina, KS was traveling westbound on K-57 in his 2019 Chevrolet Silverado when he failed to yield right of way and struck a 2024 Toyota Rav 4, being operated by Haily N. Zuniga of Loveland, CO.
The Sheriff's Department said four occupants in the Toyota were transported to the Stormont Vail for medical treatment. Both vehicles were towed by Bud’s Wrecker Service.
