Palmer and Holloway Honored by KSSWA

JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – Geary County Schools USD 475 received word this week that two of its social workers in Teresa Palmer and Stephanie Holloway were selected as finalists for Kansas School Social Worker of the Year by the Kansas School Social Worker Association.

Palmer, who has been with the district since 2006, currently works with Junction City High School and H.D. Karns students, while Holloway is at Washington Elementary and Grandview Elementary. She is in her eighth year in USD 475.

The duo was selected as finalists because of their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to supporting students, families, and the school social work community.
