JC Breakfast Optimist Club
On April 22, the JC Breakfast Optimist Club donated $200.00 to the Geary County Girls Softball organization. Jeff Childs, President, organizer and longtime coach, received the check with the money to be used for equipment, registration of players or other purchases needed to sustain softball play for girls in the county.
Girls ages 6-18 are eligible to learn and compete in softball play. There are currently 110 girls enrolled.
