Are you interested in learning more about soil health and the benefits of cover crops? The Geary, Riley, Wabaunsee and Pottawatomie County Conservation Districts are hosting a Soil Health Workshop on August 28 at Dibben Land and Cattle, 8152 Highway K-57.
According to Riley County Extension lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by Aug. 21 by calling your local Conservation District. There will be presentations dealing with cover crop talk, soil pit - soil structure and health, rainfall simulator demonstration and soil health panel discussion.
The free event on Aug. 28 will run from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
