RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas felon on new charges after an arrest.
Just after 10a.m. Monday, officers observed Jones while on patrol in the 1000 Block of Yuma Street and found he had an active warrant for probation violation. Jones rode his bicycle away from officers several times while he was informed he was under arrest.
Police eventually booked him on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation, and interference with LEO.
He remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $30,000.
