With temperatures rising Live Well Geary County would like to set up hydration stations around the community with coolers and bottled water available to anyone who needs it.
A member of Live Well Geary County, Susan Jagerson, said that they are going to try to set up at least two areas on Monday. If anyone wants to help with this effort they are asking for donated coolers (large ice chests), ice and water. They would also ask for help from businesses who might want to place a cooler outside their location. It would need to be an accessible area.
Organizers will put a plan in place to provide water in times when temperatures are high. Suggestions, or assistance anyone can provide in helping to implement this in the community are welcomed. livewellgearycounty.org
