USD 475 release
It was a SPECIAL night on Thursday as Dr. Reginald Eggleston, USD 475 Superintendent of Schools, was honored at the Kansas School Superintendents' Association’s Superintendent of the Year Awards Gala in Wichita.
By being named the 2026 Kansas Superintendent of the Year, Eggleston was recognized at the Hudson Commerce in Wichita alongside fellow finalists Dr. Jessica Dain of Piper USD 202 and Jamie Rumford of Scott County USD 466. Eggleston is only the third USD 475 Superintendent all-time to be named Kansas Superintendent of the Year, joining Mary Devin who claimed the award in 1999 and Max Heim who received the honor in 1990
