Geary County health officials on Friday reported one more COVID-19 death, bringing the county's total since the pandemic began to nine.

There were also 17 confirmed positive case and 21 recovered cases. There are 159 active cases and nine people are hospitalized.

Since the pandemic began there have been 1,023 confirmed positive cases and 849 recovered cases.
