RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Wednesday in Riley County.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by Christopher Bunnel, 43, of Manhattan and a 2016 Ford Edge driven by Renee Novak, 51, of Manhattan, collided near Northfield Road and Tuttle Creek Blvd.
Riley County EMS transported Jerome Novak, 51, of Manhattan, a passenger in the Ford Edge, to Via Christi for treatment of minor injuries.
Bunnel was issued a citation for failing to yield at a stop sign and Renee Novak was issued a citation for no liability insurance.
