RILEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8a.m. Tuesday in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Honda motorcycle driven by Robert John Nemcik, 73, Marienville, PA., was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Frontage Road.
The motorcycle left the roadway, traveled into the center median and the driver was partially ejected. EMS transported Nemcik to a Topeka hospital. He was wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
