Additional snow accumulations of up to 2” in the Highway 36 corridor, 2-4” in the Interstate 70 corridor, and 4-6” along and south of the Interstate 35 corridor.
20-30 mph wind gusts will result in blowing and drifting of the dry/powdery snow.

The National Weather Service said heavy snow is expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 7 inches, with higher amounts of 6 to 9 inches along and south of the Interstate 35 corridor.
The snowfall is expected in portions of central, east central, north central, and northeast Kansas from 6 PM this evening to midnight CST Tuesday Night.
Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes.
