Joe Moore, 37, Manhattan won the 10K portion of the Freedom Run in 32:42 in Junction City Saturday morning. Ian Salazar, 15, Lexington, Nebraska captured first place in the 5K in 16:46.

The event began Sundown Salute activities in Junction City.

This was the 45th year for the Freedom Run.
