GEARY COUNTY - On Saturday, March 25th at 6:00 pm, the Geary County 4-H/Senior Citizens Building Committee hosts the 'Back to our Roots' fundraiser to raise money for improvements and upgrades to the Geary County 4-H/Senior Citizens Building.
The fundraiser event includes both silent and live auction and a catered dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Originally constructed in 1978, the 4-H/Senior Citizen Building is used by multiple local groups including the Senior Citizen Center, 4-H clubs, and more. The building can also be rented out for private events by contacting the Geary County Extension Office.
Funding for upkeep of the building comes from rental fees and the annual fundraiser.
