Beginning on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, Skiddy Road will be closed to thru traffic at the intersection of Skiddy Rd, J Hill Rd, and East Lyons Creek Rd for the expected duration of one (1) day for a culvert replacement project. This culvert replacement is necessary to maintain proper water flow and protect the roadway from future erosion or collapse. We appreciate residents and commuters’ cooperation and patience during this important infrastructure improvement. The official detour route for northbound Skiddy Rd traffic will be Skiddy Rd to Nelson Rd then east to Erichsen Rd north to J Hill Rd. South bound Skiddy Rd traffic will follow the detour in reverse.
Beginning on Thursday, August 28, 2025, a second culvert replacement project will take place on Skiddy Rd 1.6 miles north of the Skiddy Rd & Skiddy West Rd intersection, closing Skiddy Rd to thru traffic for the expected duration of one (1) day. This culvert replacement is necessary to maintain proper water flow and protect the roadway from future erosion or collapse. We again appreciate residents and commuters’ cooperationand patience during this important infrastructure improvement. The official detour route or northbound Skiddy Rd traffic will be Skiddy West Rd to Harrel Rd then north to Otter Creek Rd E, then back east to Skiddy Rd. South bound Skiddy Rd traffic will follow the detour in reverse.
Detour traffic signs will be installed prior to the start of the culvert replacement projects.
