North Park ballfield renovation work is almost complete. According to information provided by the City, Field Three has a little bit of sod left to be laid. Base paths will be measured and finalized to make sure they are under USSSA standards.
There are a number of ideas for the use of Spin City located just off South Washington. Currently, the wrestling club uses the facility. There are also multiple events scheduled in the future, including June being virtually booked solid. Officials are researching how staffing would look, what equipment would need to be in pace, and sustainability of the building for a long term multipurpose / community center for the south side of the city.
